Fiona Monbet and her ensemble Miroirs Etendus perform Steve Reich’s “City Life” et Christophe Chassol’s “Paris Noir”
‘City Life’ is a sonic ballad through Steve Reich’s New York. Christophe Chassol created his piece ‘Paris Noir’, a guided journey to the heart of the history of the African people in twentieth-century Paris, supported by a score that sets to music the spoken voice of Kevi Donat, a tour guide.
Premiered at the Présence festival at Radio France in 2023, this concert will be performed on October the 5th 2025 at the Teatro Argentina during the Roma Europa festival in Rome, and on October the 29th at Bozar in Brussels.
